You Try Somebody Else is a 1932 Screen Song about a cat burglar who has just been released from prison. The burglar breaks into Betty Boop's house, and raids her icebox. Betty hears something in the kitchen, so she sneaks through the house in her nightwear with a shotgun, catching the robber in the process, sending him back to jail. The title song is performed by Ethel Merman.
