Victor Lion is a minor character that appeared in the early Betty Boop cartoons, he is often portrayed as a band conductor. The character made his first appearance in the 1930 cartoon Grand Uproar, and again in Silly Scandals released in 1931 as a magician. While performing on stage Bimbo makes fun of his act, so Victor hypnotises him and makes him dance, then hits Bimbo on the head.
