Mischa Bubbles is Betty Boop's uncle who owns the Club Bubbles where his niece Betty performs at the club in a one woman show. Uncle Mischa is threatened by mobster Johnny Throat because he cannot pay off his debts. Johnny plans to take both the club and Betty from Mischa. Once Betty is taken hostage by the gangsters, Misha gets help from Fearless Fred the Iceman. Fearless saves Betty from falling from a building alongside millionaire Waldo Van Lavish.
