The Fleischmann's Yeast Hour was a show hosted by Rudy Vallée, which was broadcast on NBC from 1929 until 1936 up until it came The Royal Gelatin Hour in 1939. In this episode Rudy Vallée introduces the show and sings several songs. Helen Kane "Boop-Boop-a-Doops" her way through several of her hit songs that were popular in the 1920s. Then the entire cast join in a musical comedy about the "$250,000 Infringement Lawsuit"[1] in which Helen Kane lost, when she couldn't prove that she was the originator of the singing style she was best known for, as the style had already been used by a galaxy of performers. During the skit, Helen quotes that she wants money from the Fleischer Studios. This satire comedy closely follows the real trial[2] that took place during the 1930s.
