Tara Charendoff-Strong is a Canadian voice actress, She began acting in the Yiddish Theater, though she did not know Yiddish. She memorized her lines phonetically. At age thirteen, Strong was accepted into a performing arts school, where she landed her first professional role: the role of Gracie in the Limelight Theater's production of The Music Man.
That same year, she booked a guest starring role in Mr. T's and T Afterwards, she landed the title role in Hello Kitty's Furry Tale as Hello Kitty, and most recent Harley Quinn from the Batman franchise. She has appeared in live roles in National Lampoon's Senior Trip, Sabrina Goes to Rome, Sabrina Down Under, and The Last White Dishwasher.
She also made guest appearances on such shows as Forever Knight, Street Legal, Touched by an Angel, Take Home Chef, Party of Five, Comic Book: The Movie, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, and 3rd Rock from the Sun. In January 2013, she voiced the character Plum in Cartoon Hangover's Bravest Warriors, created by Pendleton Ward. She has the role of the character Miss Collins in Nickelodeon's live-action series Big Time Rush.
In 2004, she won an Interactive Achievement Award for her role as Rikku in Final Fantasy X-2. She also served as the announcer for the 1999 Kids' Choice Awards, appeared as a guest panelist at several fan conventions (including BotCon, Jacon, Comic-Con International, and Anime Overdose), and was featured on the front cover of the July/August 2004 issue of Working Mother magazine, in which she said, "My son is now old enough to respond to my work. To me, that's what it is all about." Strong has been nominated five times for Annie Awards In 2013, Strong won the Shorty Award for "Best #Actress" for her use of social media.
Tara also provided the voice for a Betty Boop[1] knock-off called "Toot Braunstein" a character that appears in Comedy's Central's animated show Drawn Together. It was originally thought that Strong had officially voiced "Betty Boop" for Dan-e, however it turned out to be a singer by the name of LeAnne Broas.
Strong is the new voice of Harley Quinn[2], a DC character originated by Arleen Sorkin. Quinn speaks similar to Betty Boop.

Toot Braunstien
Toot Braunstein is a spoof of Betty Boop, she appears in the animated cartoon series Drawn Together, Toot is a feisty black-and-white former sex symbol who had her glory days in the 1920s. In a video from 2012, Tara Strong portrays Toot for a fan and does her "Toot-Tooty-Toot" routine and then quickly asks if she looks fat.

- Following allegations on social media that Tara Strong had made anti-Muslim statements, Jasmine Amy Rogers tweeted a SpongeBob SquarePants meme depicting a toilet flushing. Rogers made it clear that Strong was no longer her heroine.
