The Singing Dancing Flapper Cats are minor characters who appear in Dizzy Dishes. They are a chorus of scat-singing, dancing female cats. They are out of work actresses, and can be seen performing the "Crazy Jingle" on stage before Betty Boop makes her "Poo-Poo-Pah-Doo" singing debut.
While Betty scats a "Poop-Poop-Pah-Doop" on stage, the cat girls use a jazzy "Hot-Cha" and a "Da-Da-Da", routines that are similar to the "Boop-Boop-a-Doop" routine.
The cats also appear near to the end of the cartoon where they can be seen scat-singing and dancing behind Bimbo, while he tap dances with the roast duck. The curtains then close on them and Bimbo is then chased by an angry Gus Gorilla.
Quotes
- Cats: "Hot-cha-cha! Da-da-da-da-da! Hot-cha-cha! Da-da-da-da!"
- Cats: "It's crazy jingle, it's easy to do, how your feet tingle before you are through!"

- While Betty sings her solo, there's a unique female "humming" chorus present.
- Countess Cat, another cat, who was later voiced by Margie Hines in the Van Beuren Studios cartoons also sang the "Hot-cha".
