The Pretty Dog Girl is a character who appear in the 1930 Talkartoon Hot Dog. Bimbo attempts to charm her by whistling at her and forcing her into his automobile and then putting his arm around her. This ends in the flowers on the girl's hat turns into a fist and strikes Bimbo in the head.
Bimbo tries to kiss the girl, whilst calling her his "sweetheart". This ends with the girl's shoes turning into roller skates and she skates away from Bimbo.
When he is trying to catch her, the police officer spots him, and Bimbo is arrested and taken to court. Her creation came about, when Max's wife Essie Fleischer suggested that the studio create a female counterpart for Bimbo.
Grim Natwick eventually created Betty Boop in 1930.
