Trivia

  • The parents are referred to by their children only as "daddy," "mama," and "pop," but their second name "Brown" is actually revealed in the musical bouncing sequence. Mr. Brown's first name Brownie is also revealed in song.
  • The children are nameless and all look alike. Only two children are named by Mrs. Brown which are Louie and Joey.
  • The song "Hello Beautiful" was performed by Margie Hines in the "Boop-Boop-a-Doop" singing style. However Betty Boop who has a small cameo appearance doesn't appear to be singing the song. Instead the song is performed by a group of flapper girls.
  • It is revealed that the Mr. Brown brought a very clever parrot who would repeat most anything she heard. When he was busy celebrating he would have the parrot squawk.
