Ling Ling is the goddess of the wind, and appears as Pucca's rival in the animated series Pucca. The series of shorts were created by the South Korean company VOOZ Character System, and the series was created by Boo Kyoung Kim and Calvin Kim.
The series revolves around Pucca, a young girl who is in love and obsessed with a ninja named Garu. Ling Ling appears as antagonist in the series and is considered to be a flashy selfish girl, she resides in Sooga Village.
In the English dub Ling Ling talks using a Brooklynese accent. In a 2008 cartoon set in a 1930s Sooga Village, Ling Ling's counterpart is Ling Ling Boop, whereas Pucca's counterpart is Disney's Minnie Mouse.
When Ling Ling first appears, she is dubbed the bee's knees until Minnie Mouse Pucca appears. The episode not only pits Ling Ling against Pucca, but Betty Boop against Minnie Mouse. Ling Ling Boop was voiced by Tabitha St. Germain.

- Pucca's theme "Sweet Pucca" is based on the "Sweet Betty" song.
- Ling Ling and Ling Ling Boop were both voiced by Tabitha St. Germain. Germain also provided the voice for Pucca.
- Two variations of the voice are used for Ling Ling and Ling Ling Boop. Ling Ling Boop is made to sound more nasally.
- The character Pucca in real life is a South Korean cartoon icon in comparison to Minnie Mouse and Betty Boop. All three appear on merchandise worldwide. Pucca's American-Asian counterpart would be Lela Lee's Angry Little Asian Girl. Only Pucca is tame in comparison to ALAG.
- During the 1930s, Minnie Mouse was not considered to be Betty Boop's rival. Betty's rival was actually Mickey Mouse. In the modern era, both Betty and Minnie were rivals against one another on merchandise, specially one in particular which would be the red and white polka dot design, which is used frequently on merchandise.
