Desirée Goyette sang "I Wanna Be Loved By You," this time with a "Boop-Boop-Ba-Doop," and said in a recent 2024 interview that she wasn't merely the "one-time" voice of Betty Boop.
"I went on the road as Betty Boop, That was a lot of fun, I did late night and morning shows as Betty, that was 84, 1984. We worked together but my husband did the music, and arrangements." said Miss Goyette.
Adding that in 1984, she went on tour as a "Betty Boop Impersonator" with her husband Ed Bogas and she played Betty for more than a year in Betty Boop on the Road while touring from city to city in a 10-city publicity tour. According to news articles, they also continued their tour as of 1985.[2]
