Name

Betty Boop: The Definitive Collection

Betty Boop: The Definitive Collection is a VHS[1] set originally released by Republic Pictures from 1996-1998. One of the best known animated personas ever to come out of the Fleischer Studios, Betty Boop typifies the best of the 30s cartooning.

First introduced as a human in 1932 (she was a dog initially), Betty didn't fully acquire personality until she appeared opposite Cab Calloway in Minnie the Moocher.

The spotlight is always on Betty, unlike so many of her cartoon competitors from the Disney Studio. Most of the cartoons were later ported to DVD and Blu-ray in HD by Olive Films for Betty Boop: The Essential Collection.
